Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data - in line with GDPR.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Ratel Stack Global Service, an education consultancy registered in Sweden. When we refer to "we," "us," or "our," we mean Ratel Stack Global Service.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at admin@ratelstack.com or via WhatsApp (+46 761 344 469).

2. What Data We Collect

You can provide enquiry information through:

  • The contact form on this website - you enter your name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, service of interest, country of origin, and message. All are required, along with the privacy checkbox. The browser uses these details to prepare a WhatsApp message, including a local date and time.
  • WhatsApp or direct email - any information you share when contacting us through those channels.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking or advertising scripts. The preference banner uses localStorage as described in Section 5. Fonts, icons, animation files, and country flags load from external providers, which receive technical request information such as your IP address. Hosting may also generate access logs.

3. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

We process your personal data on the following bases under GDPR Article 6:

  • Legitimate interest - to respond to your enquiries and provide the education consultancy service you have requested.
  • Consent - where you have explicitly agreed, for example by submitting the contact form.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or message.
  • Schedule and conduct consultations.
  • Provide the services you have requested (admissions guidance, visa support, scholarship consulting, career counseling).
  • Send you follow-up information directly related to your enquiry, if you have asked us to.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Browser Storage and External Resources

This website stores a cookie_consent preference in your browser's localStorage. This stores your preference (accepted or declined) so we do not show the preference banner again on your next visit. This is localStorage, not a cookie. The site does not send this preference to a server. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Both Accept and Decline save your choice. Neither choice blocks external resources from Google Fonts, cdnjs, unpkg, or Flagpedia; those resources load independently of the banner.

6. WhatsApp Enquiries

The form prepares a message in your browser and opens a WhatsApp link with the entered details in its URL. The site does not submit the form to Web3Forms, email, or a website database. Opening the link shares the prepared text with WhatsApp; you must review it and press Send in WhatsApp to deliver the enquiry to us. Opening WhatsApp is not confirmation that a message was sent.

The form clears shortly after WhatsApp opens. If a pop-up is blocked, the form keeps your details for another attempt. The website does not save enquiry fields in localStorage. WhatsApp and your browser may retain the link or message under their own settings and policies. Avoid including sensitive documents or unnecessary personal details.

7. Data Retention

We retain your contact information only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and deliver the requested service. If you ask us to delete your data at any time, we will do so promptly unless we are required by law to retain it.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under EU/EEA law, you have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure - ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction - ask us to limit how we process your data.
  • Portability - receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object - object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent - at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@ratelstack.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten - IMY) if you believe your rights have been violated.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data you share with us. This static website has no form-submission backend. Enquiries you send are handled through WhatsApp or direct email; those services have their own security and storage practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
